The Spanish MAP meets for the first time
On 8 April, the first annual meeting of the Multi-Actor Platform in Spain was held as part of WASTEWISE. The main objective was to foster dialogue among different stakeholders across the food supply chain and the energy sector on how to advance towards greater cross-sectoral integration of the issue of food residues, waste, and losses across different policy areas, particularly climate change mitigation and energy efficiency.
For this first meeting, all entities that make up the Spanish national Platform took part. This is one of five existing platforms, alongside those in Finland-Sweden, Romania, Italy, and Switzerland.
The members of the Spanish Platform are:
