WASTEWISE in the celebration of the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste in Arges, Romania

On September 30, the WASTEWISE partner Cristian Popescu, from the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, was invited to participate in an event on food waste organised by the Arges Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Directorate (DSVSA Arges, Romania), in the framework of the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, held on 29 September. 

Representatives from various public institutions and over 100 retailers and economic agents from the HORECA sector participated in this event. During this event, he presented the main objectives and activities of the WASTEWISE project, in which the Arges Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Directorate is a member of the multi-actor platform.
