DAY 1
The first day of the meeting was devoted to presenting the initial results obtained by the work packages on data collection on food waste quantities and the assessment of its environmental impact. These findings will be crucial for prioritising environmental and socio-economic scenarios and the impacts of food waste prevention and reduction in the future.
DAY 2
On the second day, the main presentation focused on the evaluation of European-level policies in areas that could be linked to preventing and reducing food loss and waste. Furthermore, a large part of the session was devoted to communication, dissemination and coordination. The main discussion centred on potential outreach activities and attending important conferences on food waste.
